A 16-hour tuition-free course, sponsored by the Virginia Community Policing Institute, will be held in four locations in 2009: June 2009 (Richmond, VA), July 2009 (Chicago, IL), August 2009 (Portland, OR) and September 2009 (New Orleans, LA) Participants for the program will be selected through an application process. Those interested in attending should submit an application by February 2, 2009
Who We Are
The Centers provide qualified trainers, established locations, logistics, curriculum development, effective marketing to specified groups, manual production, on-line registration, database tracking, surveys and more. The RCPIs can plan and deliver cutting edge conferences in major cities or grassroots community mobilization in small town America and have managed sensitive training topics such as Homeland Security, Ethics, Domestic Violence and others.
