Special Training Opportunity
A 16-hour tuition-free course, sponsored by the Virginia Community Policing Institute, will be held in four locations in 2009: June 2009 (Richmond, VA), July 2009 (Chicago, IL), August 2009 (Portland, OR) and September 2009 (New Orleans, LA) Participants for the program will be selected through an application process. Who We Are
The
RCPI National Network has a nine year history of training over 500,000
representatives from local, state, federal and tribal public safety
agencies, government employees, businesses and concerned community
members. The RCPIs deliver high-quality, adult tailored training to specific
audiences through local partnerships with public safety agencies,
educational institutions, non-profit groups and other involved
stakeholders. The RCPIs can provide a one-stop training delivery mechanism
to a single market or the entire nation and have delivered internationally
with great success.The Centers provide qualified trainers, established locations, logistics, curriculum development, effective marketing to specified groups, manual production, on-line registration, database tracking, surveys and more. The RCPIs can plan and deliver cutting edge conferences in major cities or grassroots community mobilization in small town America and have managed sensitive training topics such as Homeland Security, Ethics, Domestic Violence and others.
